Was awoken by the soft raindrops on the windows this morning. Unlike yesterday’s fiery hot weather, today’s was a 180degree change – light drizzles all day with caressing wind that glides through your hair – made me sleepy the entire day. Hub went for his morning soccer whilst i lazed in bed till 11ish. Woke up to Bedok Chwee Kueh which he had bought for me, knowing that I would be sleeping the morning away. Sweeeeeet 🙂

And whilst I busied myself with posting up articles whilst chomping my Chwee Kueh, before I knew it, lunchtime! On his way home, Hub bought hot soupy Duck Noodles for moi. From a stall near Jackson Kopitiam.

Piping hot Duck Noodles... with noodles that seemed to have fatten up. LOL.

 A few hours later………………..

DINNER TIME!!

OH MY! Yesterday it was RAMEN day too! How can I keep having the same type of food for 2 consecutive days!? Last Fri/Sat was Hong Kong food, this Fri/Sat was Ramen… grrrr….

Anyways, this ramen place we dined for lunch gets Hub’s thumbs up. Having dined once previously, he liked their QQ ramen and thus had no qualms about going there again. As for me, I’m no ramen lover and I wasnt having much appetite for food yesterday (no idea why… sigh…) so we casually strolled in to be seated @  Bishamon Sapporo Ramen, Funan Digitalife Mall. We ate around 4ish and the mall was mad packed with IT bargain hunters, hordes of families in red (NDP full dress rehearsal yday!) and a crazy snaking Q of cars trying to barge into the carpark.

Hub's Ramen. The soup is shiok! Hub loves this. Oh no, I can't recall its name. Cha Siew Ramen?? *oops*

I had the Salmon Ramen Salad. Nice springy Ramen 🙂 A unique ramen meal for me. hehe 😉

Late last month, post-wedding photoshoot, a couple of frens and us sank our teeth into MOF’s Jap cuisine @ Marina Square, Centre Stage. In between girlie banters and chit-chat, we enjoyed our food though it was our first time eating there. I remember trying MOF’s Green Tea shake or the likes at Vietnam when I was there with my parents last CNY. There, their range of desserts was wow-wee! Tons of green tea stuff too <3! Here in SG, we were delighted with the wide selection of Jap food and we took quite awhile to decide on what we wanted despite angry growls from our tummies. LOL.

Miso Char Siew Ramen that Hub ordered.

Kinako Butteryaki, a mix of Golden Mushrooms and Shitake - YUM! 😛

Breaded Shishamo - crispy and crunchy 🙂

Tori Karaage - not too bad. Flavourful chicky chunks!

Presenting the Dragon Roll Mango Karigori... a Sushi Tei lookalike. Misses for this one. Rice kinda too "compact" if you know what i mean... and the portion of mango as compared to its predecessor, pales in comparison.

Tan Tan Ramen, looking hot & spicy!

After the hearty mains, we actually ordered yummy desserts (ice cream!) to sweeten the meal. But guess what? We were too excited to dive into the cold stuff, I forgot to whip out  my iPhone to capture their now-you-see-it-now-you-don’t looks. *sigh* Nevertheless, the Macha Zen and Sesame Zenzai were yummy! 😀
